Join us in Tate's TNR & Rescue Efforts.

Founded in 2020, Tate's TNR & Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to helping stray and feral cats in rural Kentucky, where resources are scarce. Our mission is to reduce the overpopulation of free-roaming cats and improve their lifespans by providing essential veterinary care and prevention services. Over time, we’ve expanded our focus to include adopting out rescue cats and supporting the community in accessing veterinary services. With your support, we aim to help many more animals in need.

We offer vouchers for Bell and Knox County, KY, as well as Lee, VA, and Claiborne, TN. Voucher day for Lee and Claiborne is the first Wednesday of each month, while Bell and Knox is the last Wednesday. Doors open at 1 PM. Please bring a photo ID or proof of residency. You must be 18 or older to receive a voucher. Each voucher covers one spay/neuter and rabies vaccine for one dog and one cat per household per month, and is valid for 90 days. Vouchers are only accepted at Harrogate Hospital for Animals and are distributed at the facility. Please do not bring animals to our location. Check our Facebook page for updates on the next clinic.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the lives of animals. Your generous donation will fund our mission and is tax deductible by law under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code.
